Meet the star behind name - our daughters Hungarian Vizsla Mac.

 

We first met Mac at just 8 weeks old when we were asked to pick him up from Wanaka, as he was going to be a  special Christmas surprise for her partner. This meant we got to look after him for the 3 days before Christmas to keep the surprise - and he stole our hearts!

So right from when he was just a wee pup, I began whipping him up warm coats to help my daughter ensure he went outside for wee - turns out he felt the cold easily and having a warm coat made all the difference to get him outside!

He quickly out grew his coats, so I made some more from a range of different materials and patterns.

My daughter soon started getting inquiries for where she brought her coats, as Vizslas can be hard to fit with their big chest and small waist - and Mac-Dog Coats was born!

I have now been making made to order, custom fitted dog coats for over a year now, and love getting the pictures of my happy customers wearing their new coats.
